This is a very important statement. Like the people it represents, the legislative branch has been overwhelmed by the speed, surprise and violence of anti-demicrstic action directed from the Oval Office.
This is the first clarion call to the people about what is happening and what is at stake. This is the kind of leadership the country has been calling for. Others are doing what they can in interviews and panels. This moment demanded more. The people are confused and scared.
This is not about the speaker or his past campaigns for high office. This is a statement about leadership that should speak to every American who supports the constitution regardless of party.
It is not partisan. it could not be more clear.

A fantastic piece that should be required reading…especially by those who hold office. The Congress and the Senate again especially those on the Right. For many seem to have forgotten just what they swore an oath to uphold, not to twist and reinterpret to fit the agenda of a political movement that has nothing to do with our American Government.
