Bullshitzkrieg ©️ (Civilwar II) occurs when true malicious political intent is masked by deniable trolling. If the overreach succeeds, norms are destroyed in favor of extremism. If extremist audacity fails, norms are still wounded, but the failed attempt can be masked as a jolly adventure in good fun. Any resistance to the same is maligned as humorlessness on the part of the offended parties. “Sovereignty… what does that even mean?”

Bullshitzkrieg is the gift of “politainment” ©️ (Civilwar II) - as news is to infotainment. It is war by meme - simultaneously ludicrous and powerful. Once norms are sufficiently weakened by all the good fun, propaganda takes over to encourage a reversal of decades (or centuries) of stability.

America ignores it had a coup attempt. Greenland's independence movement is manipulated into “sticking it to Copenhagen” not realizing that NATOs protections go away with ridding the island of the “oppression of Frederick X”. Once “independent”, all independence will cease.

It is Anschluss by tweet, where no prior cultural, historical or political links are necessary. Based on ten minutes in a cafe stuffed with quislings, Cokie von Sniffletrop reports back to the leader that all Greenlanders adore him and demand Americanization. Next stop - Panama!

Is this all a huge distraction from the leaders sentencing on Friday, or access to rare earth minerals and short unfrozen northern circle routes for trade, or a greater North American co-prosperity sphere, or ego satisfaction in the battle for attention between the leader and his oligarch? The fact no one knows for sure means destabilization has already been achieved.

Almost out of the blue, western government's are collapsing from Canada to France and Germany. It used to be said when America sneezes the rest of the world's financial markets catch a cold. Politically we appear to be witnessing a viral contagion of genuine collapse as well as self censorship and auto-capitulation to the highly feared incoming regime in Washington.

All of America's institutions have collapsed. The Judiciary, Legislature and corporate press have all turned their swords into begging bowls.

The Indy press is stovepiped so those that desperately need to see it never will. Soon the leaders of the new media organizations will be tried and convicted as communist enemies of the people. Only then will they acknowledge that Bezos and the Zuck were right to grovel like cucks.

So if America has pre-collapsed, why would we expect tiny territories like Greenland and Panama to withstand the juggernaut?

It's all a laff and a big game until it isn't.

Bullshitzkrieg is a brilliant adaptation to the available means of corruption. Like its kinetic namesake of 1939-41, by the time everyone wakes up to its sheer power and brilliance, it will be too late to devise a corrective.

Especially as there will be no new world to come to the protection of the old, as Churchill put it in his famous and acutely relevant 1938 speech “We must Arm” - my all time favorite of his warnings.

It's is perhaps a fitting indictment of the stupid timeline in which we live, that civilization is destroyed by a failed game show host.
