This is incendiary. This is extremely important not because of the speaker but because it aligns with the thinking of millions of Americans. The fact it got airtime anywhere legitimizes it to the believers. It will exacerbate already deeply concerning tensions in the US. This is Pol Pot level madness. The fig leaf cover of reference to the US Code is a pre-text for a future defense that the speaker was only talking about legal remedies. For tens of thousands? Get real.
Most people will think this is just another insane screed among many that are flying around. They will shrug it off because that's just where discourse is these days. They won't see the extreme danger here because they don't understand that all around them millions of their countrymen actually agree with this guy and comments like this push norms to the right just a little more. If this becomes acceptable in any forum, it suggests normalization of what is in reality totalitarian extremism.
The GRU is behind most of the extremism on both left and right. They are playing useful idiots on each side against one another for Putin's ultimate goal - destabilization of the US to the point of insurgent violence. America is highly vulnerable to this pressure right now. Its the top national security threat. Ignore this at your peril.
