New Research: 4.5M Americans ready to go to war with America
Civil War - Preparation of the battlespace continues apace

Half of the country believes there will be civil war “in the next few years”. A slightly lower number, 40% believe that “having a strong leader for America is more important than having a democracy”. This is one of the findings in pre-review social science research conducted by scholars at the University of California, Davis. The study also found that ~20% believed that the lie that “the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump”. YouGov poll released last month had a majority of both Democrats and Republicans agreeing that America would one day “cease to be a democracy.”
Extrapolating from these findings, an estimated ~4.5M Americans are “very or completely willing” to intimidate, injure, or kill for a political goal. They are ready to “commit violence against government, election and health officials, & police and military”.
This research is in line with earlier studies used in Civil War II and confirms the strategic assessment in Civil War II that democratic norms and institutions are collapsing faster than the population realizes.
This process is being accelerated by a norm and precedent-busting Supreme Court that looks likely to enshrine the coup mechanisms used by anti-democratic forces in 2020. Based on its recent lunge to the far right, the Court also appears to be likely to overturn any conviction of the leader of the Trump Terror Network (TTN) should the DOJ make him face trial.
The TTN is raising incredible amounts of money and is preparing to complete the deconstruction of the administrative state as soon as it is restored to power. Last time the ‘adults in the room’ prevented The Leader from pursuing his true instincts - think of the 18 Dec meeting. The TTN has learned from its time in power. They are already vetting a pool of ideologically pure apparatchiks who will replace staff in a pre-planned purge of thousands of apolitical national security positions. This is the same playbook that the TTN is currently using in local and state election offices and Secretary of State elections. If this approach sounds familiar, it is cut from the same cloth as the purges of the Pol Pot regime. That sounds outrageously extreme in 2022, but remember the president of the United States just tried to assassinate his Vice President to try to cling to power. What is defined as ‘outrageous’ is rapidly being redefined. Indeed, that is the key point in the research noted in this article.
The growth in political instability in America is a massive boon for America’s enemies, including Russia, China, Iran, ISIS and the TTN. This Civil War II note explains the linkages between domestic instability and the benefit to competitors and enemies using China as an example.
As Civil War II has shown, the steady rise in advocacy for politically motivated violence by the TTN has played an important role in spreading instability among the population. Comprised of a political wing supported by paramilitary forces, the TTN manipulate traditional conservative talking points on the second amendment, away from sports and home protection, toward the idea that it guarantees a constitutional right to attack the government. The popularity of these views has grown to the point that pro-democracy politicians feel the need to spell out that, in fact no the constitution does not protect the right to take up arms against America. This is the state of politics in America today.
Dr. Rachel Kleinfeld, a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment who specializes in democracy and security said
“Democracies with strong institutions rarely experience serious political violence,” Kleinfeld said, “But a very significant portion of our population is willing to support the erosion of our institutions and a turn to strong man rule.”

The J6C has done a superb job in raising the alarm on these issues. Just last night, the world heard secret service radio traffic turning to battlefield farewells to family members as TTN terrorists were about to overrun the position of the Pence detail. As the hearings have made clear, the TTN leader designated Pence for assassination. Through his lieutenants, he coordinated terrorists to act as a vanguard of an armed crowd, to attack the Capitol, and hunt for Pence. Once he knew his quarry was cornered, he used social media to urge his paramilitary forces to finish the job he sent them there to do. Fortunately, at the very last moment, the Pence detail was able to take their protectee and his family down a stairway to safety.
Had Pence, his wife and daughter been strung up in the Senate gallery, perhaps the DOJ would have been more assertive against the TTN and its enablers in the USSS. Perhaps America would be a safer place by now. As it is, the threat grows daily. It is empowered by official inaction. There is a bizarre unwillingness in official America to accept that the TTN is a real threat and act to save the country before they complete their advancing efforts to seize power. Had foreign forces directly attacked the Capitol, America would have been at war the very next day.
