USSS erases Jan 5 & 6 texts
Update 15 July 2022
If things did not already look bad, they just got a whole lot worse. What follows is more evidence of the corrosion of confidence in government that follows in the wake of politicization of key institutions like the US Secret Service. Because the USSS has undermined its own credibility, its defenses appear pathetic and weak in the face of new data that is coming out.
The new issue is a letter sent by the DHS Inspector General to Congress explaining that its request for USSS texts messages from ONLY 5 & 6 Jan were erased, AFTER the request was made.
DHS Inspector General Letter
The reason? The long-planned roll out of a new phone system. Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Thursday that
USSS began to reset its mobile phones to factory settings as part of a pre-planned, three-month system migration.
So let’s get this straight
Starting 19 days before an inauguration - a designated a National Special Security Event (NSSE) and likely one of the most high stress periods in the USSS calendar - equal only to a State of the Union - the secret service decides to embark on a 3 month long change in their coms plan?
But wait! Thats not all. After J6, the Biden inauguration was no longer a typical NSSE. The Capitol had been turned into a Green Zone - the same name given to the only safe area in war-torn Baghdad. Historical levels of additional security measures had to be adopted to prevent the Trump paramilitary-led mob from returning and attempting to kill the newly elected President and all present RINOs and Liberals.
Under these extraordinary conditions, the USSS decided it was prudent to continue an interruption to its communications continuity? It couldn’t delay a few months until the heightened moment of crisis had past?
The USSS explanation of its actions simply defies credulity
The USSS explanation of its actions simply defies credulity. The DHS/USSS MUST present the documentation behind this action to have any hope of maintaining credibility. The first question to answer is if this explanation is correct, who decided a change of this kind right before an inauguration was a good idea? Name the official. Show the paperwork. Would the departure of the director to snapchat have anything to do with any of this?
If indeed the USSS was undertaking a coms change at that moment, it was either the most breathtaking incompetence in the history of the service or it is part of a cover up. It is a binary choice. The signifiant politicization of the service up until that moment does not encourage giving them the benefit of the doubt. In the interest of national security, this needs to be fully aired and acted upon for the country to have any confidence in the continued safety of the continuity of government at a time of continued peril.
Jan 6 was the greatest political crime against the United States in history outside of the Civil War. It even eclipses most presidential assassinations, with the possible exception of Lincoln in terms of the threat to the state. The secret service is deeply entwined with all the key events around Jan 6.
In summary, before J6, it worked with paramilitary leaders to place them with Trump at rally’s and in visits to the White House. It dismissed intelligence warnings indicating a serious threat to the continuity of government - its primary mission. It let down other law enforcement agencies like the US Capitol Police (who got the intel right) by exposing them to dangers that resulted in the deaths of police officers. It was warned in advance by VP Pence’s Chief of Staff that the President was a threat to the VP. On Jan 6, it did not change its plans when it discovered weapons in the crowd. The VP determined that his own secret service detail was corrupted and could not be trusted. When the VP’s National Security Adviser drew the situation to the attention of the most senior secret service officer on White House staff his warning was at best ignored. As the Capitol was over-run by the same terrorists that the secret service had given access to the White House, the premier law enforcement agency of the United States could not prevent a nuclear football from coming within 40 feet of discovery.
For a detailed and fully referenced explanation of this summary about just how bad things are inside the secret service see this analysis -
Had the mob Facebook live-streamed a peoples tribunal in the Senate Chamber, resulting in the Vice President, Speaker of the House, and associated other RINOs and Democrats being summarily condemned, and led away with zip-tied hands to be shot in the head, their limp bodies strung up from the balcony in the public gallery; would the DOJ would still be conducting investigations and the secret service unable to find communications records?
There were a range of crimes committed prior to, and on, J6. Some were committed by terrorists. Some by members of the mob supporting the terrorists. Some by the President of the United States. The President tried to have his Vice President killed. That is in fact a crime. It may go unpunished, but it is still a crime. That was not the only crime he committed that day.
Trump could be charged with manslaughter
Former US Attorney Barbara McQuad suggests Trump could be charged with manslaughter, not for killing hundreds of thousands by incompetence in mismanaging covid, but for knowing the mob was armed and not acting to stop it from engaging in its murderous rampage. Instead, he purposefully riled up the armed mob and dispatched it to ‘fight like hell’ against his enemies on Capitol Hill. After dispatching the armed mob, the President further incited the mob to target his own VP. In response, the mob started searching for the VP chanting for his death. Credible witnesses have told the J6C that the VP would have been killed had they got their hands on him. The mob was also spontaneously chanting for the death of other members of the continuity of government. As all of this was taking place, the president sat back in the comfort of his tv room and enjoyed the show for hours.
As a law enforcement organization the secret service understands the obligation to preserve evidence at the scene of a crime. Washington DC was the scene of a whole series of crimes on Jan 6, some committed directly in the presence of USSS personnel. Some possibly by USSS personnel.
The fact that records were not protected as a standard operating procedure requires the public to believe that the secret service is either completely incompetent or engaged in a massive cover up of crimes against the United States perpetrated by the President and his inner circle that included a secret service agent turned political apparatchik.
Either way, until a thorough independent review takes place and a major house cleaning takes place, the threat to the continuity of government remains. Until that happens the public can not be assured that a lawful arrest warrant for the former President will be safely executed without triggering a major national security crisis in a nuclear armed superpower.
Update 3 Aug 2022 - The federal government can be incompetent but this incompetence looks far too competent
Secret Service phones were wiped. So were those of Homeland Security. Now we learn that it happened at the Pentagon too? The federal government can be incompetent but this incompetence looks far too competent.
The original coverage by Civil War II offered two possible options - incompetence or a cover up. We are now asked to believe the forgetfulness or incompetence of the USSS, was mirrored in DHS and now DOD? All erasing evidence of a crime and only data from the day of that crime? Civil War II was originally clearly skeptical but willing to give the USSS the benefit of the doubt. It is no longer willing to have the intelligence of the people of the United States insulted with this utter bullshit.
Of the two possible conclusions originally offered in the coverage above, it is now clear that only one makes sense, the entire Trump national security apparatus was
engaged in a massive cover up of crimes against the United States perpetrated by the President and his inner circle that included a secret service agent turned political apparatchik.
As if the DOJ did not have enough to investigate. However as a matter of top priority it MUST fully investigate this as a conspiracy designed to undermine the national security of the United States by those charged with protecting it. All phones, and all phone records, meta data, etc, govt and private, of all involved personnel must be subpoenaed.
The threat this represents is real, significant and ongoing. If it is not stopped, if the traitors are not uncovered, they may continue to be in positions of power and influence, ready to continue the coup they started and covered up. This threat will reach its apex when an order is given to arrest Trump. That looks increasingly likely. It will be a tinderbox moment when it comes regardless. This situation significantly adds to the risk of a major explosion of violence that could threaten the fabric of this country. Disregard this threat at your peril.

Update 28 July 2022 - Jim Helminski interviewed by Esquire
Jim Helminski was with the Secret Service for the better part of three decades, including as special agent in charge of then-Vice President Joe Biden’s protective detail and as deputy assistant director, where he oversaw all 42 domestic field offices.
Update 19 July 2022 - USSS Loses All Credibility
The appearance is that the Secret Service is fully complicit in the Coup.
Previously Civil War II asked whether the USSS would act on an order to arrest Trump. Now Civil War II is starting to wonder whether an order to arrest Trump would be the signal for the service to turn against Biden.
Cover up by massively incompetent people. #dunningkrugeratUSSS
