A Note on Social Media

Since ~2004 the only social media I have used is LinkedIn. Over time, my use of LinkedIn changed from networking to posting on substantive professional issues related to war, intelligence and strategy. LinkedIn is not the right platform for subject matter debate.

As publication of CWII approaches I have reassessed my social media practices. So last week I joined twitter and substack. They appear to offer an important role to play in both promoting the book and continuing the dialogue.

For continuity and context purposes, I will be migrating relevant postings I made on LinkedIn to this platform. They will carry the original posting date which will naturally be prior to posting here. A link will be provided to the original content for verification purposes. I will post them verbatim, rather than update them to current information, to allow them to stand as a record of my thoughts at that time.
