Diagnosis
Adjudicated rapist and multiply charged criminal defendant Donald Trump has been diagnosed with Malevolent Narcissistic Personality Disorder with Anti Social Criminal Features (M-SCF). He also displays the symptoms of Frontotemporal Dementia (F-D).
Dr. John Gartner and Dr. Harry Segal discuss his case in a new podcast titled Shrinking Trump. The title is a double word play - in that they are both shrinks and their subject is himself shrinking from his former self.
Dr. Segal, a senior lecturer in psychology at Cornell University, explains in the podcast that M-SCF’s “do not get better”…
As they have more and more freedom, they act out more and more aggressively. It gets worse when there is less structure. There is no medication to fix it. We are going to be watching the interaction between the cognitive decline and the personality disorder, both of which are severe diagnoses for anybody.
Dr Gartner, an expert in malignant narcissism at the Johns Hopkins University Medical School, was a key figure in the “duty to warn” project that resulted in a series of conferences and publications, including the following
These accomplished theoreticians and practitioners present a detailed clinical analysis of Trump’s decline. They show video examples of his recent performances where he verbally stumbles off a cliff and mumbles incoherently. If you wondered if this has been happening more frequently of late - you would be right - it has.
Their first guest, clinical psychologist, Dr Vincent Greenwood of the Washington Center for Cognitive Therapy, presents a clinical comparison between Trump and Biden. He assesses them on two axis - dementia and aging. His findings correlate with observations of both men in public appearances. Biden is showing more signs of aging but no signs of dementia whereas Trump is the exact opposite. The general public maybe unable to tell the difference or confuse the causes in one or both cases.
Biden stumbles with words sometimes and appears doddering in his movements and body language. He occasionally verbally stumbles or gets names mixed up. But he does not get people mixed up. Trump does. He consistently and repeatedly confused Nancy Pelosi with Nikki Haley, he confused Sioux Falls with Sioux City, and needed a written list of family members for a speech, for just a few examples.
This is not someone you want within reach of nuclear codes. Indeed, these findings put into new context the already terrifying reports of Trump talking about using nuclear weapons on various occasions - against the DPRK and hurricanes.
A critically important point to remember is that virtually everyone Trump worked with in government has disavowed him and stated he should never be allowed back into power. From his Vice President on down, no one who saw him up close in the Oval Office believes he is safe, let alone sane. Of course none of that impacts the mob under the say of the right wing propaganda machine that is taking $787 billion hits and continues on the same course - to install a dictator.
The importance of psychology for understanding Trump goes back to vital work conducted by the OSS in WWII. Their ground breaking assessment of enemy leaders bears a striking resemblance to Donald Trump.
As CWII wrote in an earlier comprehensive psychological assessment of Trump and his followers inspired by the OSS study
The similarities between Hitler and Trump are unnerving. Reading the full report is like going down a checklist of Trump’s personality - the grievance and hatreds, narcissism, paranoia, coarseness, vulgarity, racism, resentment toward women (except his favored daughter for whom he publicly admits he harbors sexual desire - the OSS report outlines Hitler’s coprophilia-based relationship with his teenage niece that ended in her ‘suicide’), a complete inability to empathize with anyone, even those suffering extreme trauma like natural disasters or victims of mass shootings.

The physical pandemic locked everyone inside and together with the internet, multiplied by too much free time, multiplied by extreme fear, created the perfect conditions for the contagion of a mental health pandemic that we are still dealing with today.
Trump is heavily engaged in Coup 2.0 (the subject of the next post on CWII). His already extremely dangerous programs, outlined in the “Blut und Boden” assessment below, will only become more blood thirsty as his sense of entitlement grows. This will be supercharged by escaping the consequences of his actions - which appears to be the order of the day thanks primarily to a corrupt judiciary at the highest levels (and in FL) and a terrified judiciary and political establishment.
Update
The second video has just dropped and it is as important as the first. It goes through more examples of Trump’s illness. One thing I like about it is they are not afraid to make predictions and so far they have been proven on point. For example, in the first program they said Trump will just get worse and one week later present examples of that prediction.
Most importantly, Dr Gartner predicts Trump will bow out of the debates because he knows he will be humiliated. Dr Segal counters saying Trump’s ego won’t be able to resist and he will be able to pass off his “glitches” as comedy and purposeful.
This was before Trump’s 35 second pause with the teleprompter at the NRA where he simply cant cope. If Biden did this Fox would not stop screaming from the rooftops.
Psychology is the only way to understand and explain the maga phenomena. See CWII’s first major assessment from August 2022.
