Washington DC 3 MAR 2025
America has capitulated to the Russian Federation. The following text is an adaptation of FDRs Pearl Harbor oration. Few modifications were needed to adjust it to today’s calamitous circumstances. That alone tells us so much about the moment in which the world's greatest democracy finds itself just a few years short of its 250th anniversary. Civil War 2 issues this statement earnestly as befits the crisis in which America finds itself at home and around the world.
Last Friday, February 28, 2025, a date which will live in infamy, the United States of America suddenly and deliberately attacked the President of Ukraine in the Oval Office. The United States was at peace with that nation and, had long supported it in its vallient attempts to defend itself against a war of conquest, occupation and genocide by the Russian Federation.
It will be recorded that prior statements and actions of support for Ukraine makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Trump government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.
The attack Friday on the Ukrainian President has caused severe damage to American global interests and has obliterated our moral authority. I regret to tell you that very many American lives now risk being lost in support of the Axis of Authoritarianism.
Trump's regime has, therefore, undertaken a surprise capitulation to the Russian Federation and its Axis of Authoritarianism spread around the world. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation. But always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us.
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated capitulation to our centuries long enemy, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.
I believe that I interpret the will of the people against the majority collaborationist party in Congress, when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.
Political, economic and psychological hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger from our government.
With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph—so help us God.
I ask that the people stand together to declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by Trump on Friday, February 28th, 2025, a state of political war has existed between pro-constitutionists and the Trump-Putin Axis.”
I’m sorry, my friends, but I’m utterly exhausted by all of this, and I know many others feel the same. So many of us are grappling with anxiety, breakdowns, and mental distress. This cannot go on.
We cannot continue to nurture these feelings. Otherwise be helpful and get together. It is always good for the soul to see a smile on someone’s face. To hear the sounds of a voice. I’m idealistic … maybe, you care?
Everyone seems to think they have a better or more rational perspective like a great picture competition on what’s happening or what is coming.
Yes, that’s the question: What is happening to us here at home in Canada and in the United States… United States … states that are united! One.
As a child, I was in awe of the United States—everything seemed to come from there. The moon landings, the music, the innovation—each achievement filled me with wonder. But now, when I think of it, all I feel is resentment and anger. The admiration I once had has been replaced with a deep sense of disillusionment.
At this point, I fear everything is heading in the wrong direction. We, the people, are trapped—like mice in a cage—powerless. And that’s exactly what they want us to believe.
You might be wondering, deep down, if writing or even reading this could land you in trouble. That’s the essence of fascism—fear. If no one had ever stood up to oppression in history, we’d be living in a world right out of 1984.
We’re speeding toward a brick wall, and it’s going to hurt when we wake up—too late.
We talk endlessly—about ideas, philosophies, and frustrations—long speeches, infinite texts—all just to vent. But let’s be honest: in the end, we don’t act. My dog does the same—he barks, but never bites.
Are we afraid? Are we simply waiting for the government to break us—physically and emotionally? But don’t forget: they are the minority.
My family descends from a long line of settlers who arrived in New France (the former name of Canada) in 1658. They fought to defend our land against the British as part of the Carignan-Salières Regiment.
The people must take control of our own destiny. The time for action is now.
This is your finest hour, Adam.
You rise like Tom Paine.
This is your finest writing.
I will read your brave words many times.
I am in tears.
You have my deepest respect.
