I’m sorry, my friends, but I’m utterly exhausted by all of this, and I know many others feel the same. So many of us are grappling with anxiety, breakdowns, and mental distress. This cannot go on.

We cannot continue to nurture these feelings. Otherwise be helpful and get together. It is always good for the soul to see a smile on someone’s face. To hear the sounds of a voice. I’m idealistic … maybe, you care?

Everyone seems to think they have a better or more rational perspective like a great picture competition on what’s happening or what is coming.

Yes, that’s the question: What is happening to us here at home in Canada and in the United States… United States … states that are united! One.

As a child, I was in awe of the United States—everything seemed to come from there. The moon landings, the music, the innovation—each achievement filled me with wonder. But now, when I think of it, all I feel is resentment and anger. The admiration I once had has been replaced with a deep sense of disillusionment.

At this point, I fear everything is heading in the wrong direction. We, the people, are trapped—like mice in a cage—powerless. And that’s exactly what they want us to believe.

You might be wondering, deep down, if writing or even reading this could land you in trouble. That’s the essence of fascism—fear. If no one had ever stood up to oppression in history, we’d be living in a world right out of 1984.

We’re speeding toward a brick wall, and it’s going to hurt when we wake up—too late.

We talk endlessly—about ideas, philosophies, and frustrations—long speeches, infinite texts—all just to vent. But let’s be honest: in the end, we don’t act. My dog does the same—he barks, but never bites.

Are we afraid? Are we simply waiting for the government to break us—physically and emotionally? But don’t forget: they are the minority.

My family descends from a long line of settlers who arrived in New France (the former name of Canada) in 1658. They fought to defend our land against the British as part of the Carignan-Salières Regiment.

The people must take control of our own destiny. The time for action is now.

I'm still trying to entertain the belief that we have drifted into some kind of alternate universe. What do you mean "we switched sides"? How does that work?

KREMLIN PRAISES TRUMP FOR JOINING AXIS

"There is a long way to go because a lot of damage has been done to the whole complex of bilateral relations. But if the political will of the two leaders, President Putin and President Trump, is maintained, this path can be quite quick and successful,”

Thanks Dr Hall… this is not deserved. All I did was change a few of FDRs words… really just swapped “Japan” for “Trump”. As I was re-reading his address it struck me how much of it applied to where we find ourselves today.

Not deserved, my ass.

You don't realize the power

of what you did.

Did anyone ELSE

see HOW this address is NOW?

Did some other human

give this speech its rebirth

at exactly the moment

we need it so desperately?
