All signs showed that after 10 years of Trump, the American political establishment had finally gotten the measure of the man. His enemies had finally cracked the code on how to prove he was not just unfit - but a danger - their actions proved it. They set a trap for him and he walked right into it, in obvious fear. Then the American political establishment choked like a dog. It proved that, in fact, it had learned exactly nothing. Now the American people, at least the vast majority who do not want a fascist dictatorship, are left holding the bag.
Sensei Biden Arises!
In the last two State of the Unions (SOTU) President Biden crushed the fascist circus. His speeches were strong because he has an incredible record of real achievements for middle America. I would not have health care without him and President Obama before him. HT to Senator McCain too. On top of that, he put hard judo moves on all the usual screaming banshees. This was my assessment in Feb of 2023
Sensei Biden took all the angry negative energy of the extremists screaming at him, challenged them to deny they would destroy social security and medicare and like circus animals they had no choice but to stand and applaud. In one deft stroke, he out maneuvered them, and got them on the most public record there is in American politics to reject their announced plans. Then, he followed through with the coup de grâce, claiming “we’ve got unanimity”.
Forcing them into an appearance of unanimity was a devastating blow to their agenda of disrespect, disinformation, and division. It was the smart-mans smack down using facts against lies, provoking the stupidity of the opponent to trigger them to make an string of unforced errors.
He repeated this feat in February 2024, in one case, with just a simple look that crushed the idiocracy.
He maintained a Presidential mien while he adroitly facilitated their self-ridicule. Observe MTG’s face when the camera pans to her. The only thing missing is a Sir David Attenborough commentary -

Guerilla-Gotcha is the only language that ape speaks. She got owned good, as they say down there in Georgia, and her troop knew it.
Watching this deft performance, I concluded his domestic political staff were on their game. My confidence in his performance gave me grounds to believe that the public might quietly return him to the Oval Office.1 The President has only one negative factor and his stellar performance year-on-year in both SOTU’s revealed a possible fluke - to be a pattern. The pattern of a winner - a quiet achiever. He proved his critics wrong so comprehensively that they had to start spinning that he was doing cocaine he had so much intelligent energy!
I don’t normally do this but
On a personal level, until this year’s SOTU, I had been holding back on some life changes. My inactivity personified the “consumer confidence” surveys where the public ceases all major economic activity and adopt a wait and see approach for fear of taking risks that might backfire if things turn sour. I am lucky to live in a pleasant house, but I have desired a change for about 10 years. I put the house on the market and started a serious campaign to find a replacement that fit my new wants. Yes, I wont lie, they were not needs. I have not updated my car or motorcycle (a hobby) in 18 years! They work fine but are showing signs of age (the ironies). Being fiscally conservative, I held back on the car, but I did lash out on a new toy. Note the patriotic color scheme and USAF whimsy!
Thats commitment. Or faith. 18 years in the waiting…. and I finally stepped out. I don’t regret it, but after last night I am now relieved I did not get the car.

Judo Sensei Biden and his team set the trap for the coup-de-grace. The smart players on the other side knew it was an ambush. They panicked. Their propaganda ecosystem went into overdrive suggesting “cocaine-Joe” was no longer a doddering old fool dribbling on himself, but suddenly a sharp, skilled, political knife-fighter. It was so desperate that Trump started prophylactically praising sleepy Joe’s debate skills and hinting “I might let him win” because thats what winners do…
When he walked onto that stage you could see Trump’s fear. Who can blame him. Look at what he was carrying into that debate. It was “grab em by the pussy x 10,000,000”. Anyone would be terrified of what a skilled operator would do with endless crime sprees and promises of a retribution-based dictatorship. Trump knew that a version of what he did to Hillary with Bill’s accusers was about to unfold. Nauta, the King’s piss-boy, had applied a fresh depends - it was strapped, empty and ready for the deluge!2
Trump has been imploding for some time now. Under a ton of mounting pressure (he is to be sentenced next week in the first of his FOUR CRIMINAL TRIALS), his symptoms of dementia can no longer be hidden from the public. The incidence of phonemic aphasia’s in his speech patterns have dramatically escalated over the past 6 months. These show up in his weekly partei rallies where he will suddenly start incoherently mumbling gibberish - sometimes ending in a defeated “bbarrrraaahhhhhh”. It’s embarrassing to watch. This guy is going to be President? Of America? A recent comparison of Biden and Trump by clinical psychologist, Dr Vincent Greenwood of the Washington Center for Cognitive Therapy, shows that while Biden is showing typical signs of aging, he is not showing signs of dementia. Trump is showing both, and the dementia is getting worse before our eyes.
Blood was in the water. All Biden and his team had to do was Let Trump be Trump.
At this point of Trump’s degeneration, Biden and his team knew all they had to do was let Trump be Trump - a natural lying fascist out of touch with reality, promoting unpopular policies (death panels - I mean abortion, pulling out of NATO, giving Ukraine to Russia), and hope that with some goading, the pressure might trigger an undeniable example of phonemic aphasia that Biden could then ridicule - thus proving once and for all Biden might be old but he’s sharp with a killer instinct.3
America is a superpower. It wants a strong leader who wont take any bullshit - especially not from a rapist incest obsessed kiddie fiddler tax evading conman who defrauded everyone he ever met over the course of his coarse life. And, I assume, a good man.

Trump, cornered and desperate, stupidly agreed to debate terms that were decidedly against his interests. The terms prohibited his only weapon - chaos - in the form of bluster, noise, interruption, and distraction.
No audience in the venue. Just the candidates. Trump could not feed off the energy of his screaming banshees giving the appearance of legitimacy to his lies and throwing Sensei off this game.4
A cut-off mic. A kill-shot for Trump. This would ensure Sensei could be heard and would turn Trump into an inaudible screaming lunatic in the corner. (Provided Sensei followed to obvious plan - or was given it in the first place)

Sensei Biden knew this was going to be hand-to-hand mortal combat with a deranged megalomaniac. Without a crowd and with a silent mic situation - Biden held the high ground. The recipe for success was simple: The first rule of fight club is ignore all rules and attack, attack, attack. There is no question and answer. There is only attack. It’s not like the dems didn’t know their opponent or have enough ammo!
Regardless of the first question or any of the debate preamble, the first thing out of Joe’s mouth should have been… slowly… focused… looking that piece of shit dead in the eye…

Then pause four beats. Enjoy the scene as the Fuhrer stumbles back from the first punch in his face. He didn’t expect this because he assumed weakness. He is in shock. There is no response to that statement (note - it is not a question).

Debates
A debate at Cambridge University is an intellectual contest between two carefully constructed Hegelian dialectics where verified documentary evidence is carefully weaved into an erudite insight that disproves the other sides assumptions, argument and conclusions. Competing well crafted narratives go back and forth between opponents leaving the audience to decide who built and defended the best intellectual fort on the facts and their interpretation. It goes without saying that Oxford or the American Ivy League admire Cambridge.
By contract, an American political debate is decided by dick size. Actually, by today’s standards, thanks to Trump, even that is high brow. This should tell you something about the quality of American political life and the elites on both sides that run it.
Face it - this superpower has descended to dick measuring v dic-tatorship. Chasing the proles, the political class has landed on the lowest of low, the most common of common, denominators. The sad fact is global security and the future of fascism and democracy hang in the balance from Taipei to Tusla and this is the best we can put forward?
The proles now see Trump’s big dick energy and will vote for it. Policies, details, facts, binders be damned. It is a fitting coda to a country that long ago embraced entertainment as politics. We have become a fully-fledged idiocracy. That would not matter if we were lower Volta. Alas, we are the last nuclear armed bulwark between peace and endless global anarchy. Our political class (yes both sides) are stupid, short sighted, and ahistorical. The old chestnut - failure of imagination - is driving us into a ditch. Along with us comes the remaining free world.

Joe Biden is self evidentially a good human being. He has been through Kennedyesque levels of untimely family tragedy. In response, he became an empath. He is a man who wants to please others in a sincere and genuine way. He is a patriot. His heart is with the people. He turned to salute the paratroopers at Normandy not because he did not know where he was but because he knew those NATO troops would be honored by an American President stopping to acknowledge their dangerous work (you jump out of a plane with a combat load). At home, Joe has done things the American political establishment has not done for the poor, the working class, the struggling - which now include the middle class thanks to the oligarchy and their compliant puppets - since LBJ.6
Joe knew the stakes going into last night. Ironically, it was because he took them so seriously that he choked. He was visibly incredulous at the torrent - torrent - of lies and disinformation. Attacking him and Beau on patriotism was sickening, coming from a bone spurred studio 54 whore whose personal Vietnam was his itchy crotch.
Joe was ill served by his people. They seemed to have got the measure of Trump. They lured him into an ambush but then they piled Joe with 10 x 20” thick binders on every issue under the sun and sent him into quote facts and figures when all he had to do was shit on Trump. Off the cuff. Based on Trump’s crimes sprees. What the fuck were they thinking?
Poor old Joe came in looking fraught. He spoke way too fast, fighting his stammer, to put out as many facts and figures as he could. He wanted to desperately to use hard evidence to prove a case that Trump didn't know what was right for America or the world. Instead, he should have rested for a few days. Slept in. Had meals with Dr Jill. And spent some time with a sports psychologist who would get him ready for the gutter and make him see it was a child’s game that he could easily win. That it would be fun to kick Trump’s ass. No facts or figures necessary. Just figures of speech, well crafted and practiced and delivered for effect.
All of Joes domestic political advisers need to resign, en mass, in public, and take the fall, in recognition of how badly they have fucked up. It’s not like they can hide their vast incompetence.
I wont get into replacement debates. Kamala is unpopular and weak. Gavin Newsome or better yet, Mayor Pete, is the obvious choice. Whether putting either man in is technically feasible, whether they would do it - I don’t know.
What I do know is this. It’s now or never. The proles will choose stagecraft and the appearance of power over policy wonkism. It’s dick measuring or democracy.
If democracy loses you better learn the words to this song and others like it. Does this seem over the top? Sure. Why? Because you don’t know history. You don’t realize we are way past 1933 and we are at about 1938-39. America is an amazing country. What it has not learned is you cant be a superpower without understanding history and geography. The mid-term rejection of fascist Secretary’s of State suggested to me that deep down the public knew what to do even if they did not tell the pollsters. Also, as I have noted many times, polls in normal periods are better able to capture the norm. We are living in a highly unstable and dangerous moment.
