As a Commonwealth member would we not assume Australia and indeed all members would be covered under England which has a fleet of ballistic submarines? Also why not look to it or France for alternatives both nations have ballistic submarines and France has already gone so far as offering their umbrella to friendly nations, as a short term solution that should work and long term look for developing them via Europe instead. One of these submarines has enough destructive power to put even a superpower into complete disarray. They have 8 between them and more on order already.
